Admins can instantly allow their makers within development environments to begin using a designated pipeline for scalable, healthy ALM.
The deployment hub makes it easier than ever for admins to manage application lifecycle management (ALM) organization wide. With best-practices, recommendations, and automation baked in, the deployment hub makes admin lives easier as it builds confidence with production assets that are safe and secure. Combined with the maker deployment hub, admins maintain visibility and control while makers can self-serve requests to secure automated deployments.

Tenant admins can instantly associate their environment group’s development environments with a pipeline. This allows makers to use that pipeline from the moment they land on the Pipelines page in the maker portal. We have simplified the meticulous process of creating environmental records for each development environment in the pipelines host. We link them to a pipeline, turning a multi-hour process into one that takes less than two minutes.
The deployments hub for makers provides a unified view of deployment history and current state to makers in their development environments. As it's upgraded, the hub will serve as a central place for everything ALM—recommendations to improve ALM health, a unified deployment experience, and an overview of source control with related actions.
The new Maker inventory page is a centralized, efficient, and secure way for IT administrators to discover and query their company’s complete inventory of agents, and intelligent apps.
Environment groups allow you to configure settings across multiple environments in bulk. Once these rules are enforced, environment administrators are unable to override the settings established by the central IT team through environment groups. This ensures consistent adherence to central IT policies.

Power Platform Advisor is your guide to personalized recommendations to optimize your Power Platform tenant. Advisor analyzes all Managed Environments and the apps in these environments within your Power Platform tenant. Advisor offers solutions to enhance security, reliability, and overall health.
In this release, we're enhancing this feature to provide more recommendations and more ways to take actions.
Historically, a core set of connectors, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Dataverse, couldn’t be blocked by data policies. With the new connector management rule, customers can block any connector they wish. New connectors default as blocked, which gives more control back to IT administrators.
The scope of environments impacted will be easier to manage, as well, using environment groups, as compared to the many-to-many model of data policies available today.
The user interface (UI) of the Power Platform admin center has been improved to provide a more efficient and organized way for admins to go about their daily work. Admins can seamlessly manage and govern the assets in their Power Platform tenant with ease using a modern UI that is easier to use so that admins can accomplish their goals quickly and efficiently.
This feature provides a unified consumption tracking and management experience for all currencies, including Copilot currency. These currencies support both prepaid and pay-as-you-go licensing plans.
This feature helps admins optimize their investments, ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing terms, and plan for any additional expenditures effectively.

Sharing limits is a new type of guardrail available to admins in the Power Platform admin center. This feature lets admins turn off sharing so that a maker can't share their copilot, created in Microsoft Copilot Studio, with an individual or a security group. This feature can be applied at the Managed Environment-level, in addition to being applied as a rule to an environment group.

This feature allows customers to meet their data and privacy policies.
Admins can use new governance controls to guide Copilot development in their tenants, enforce governance policies that are based on organizational requirements, and unlock Copilot innovation opportunities.
Using role-based views simplifies the usability of a business line app when multiple users with different needs are introduced. For example, team leads or supervisors working in the case table have different system view needs than a case service rep. Standard system views, like My Cases and My Cases Closed Today, just create clutter for the supervisors. Consequently, makers had to create multiple apps for a cleaner experience.

As an administrator, you can enhance your organization's security by restricting unauthorized access to Microsoft Copilot Studio from IP ranges outside your configured business ecosystem. This ensures that your organization remains secure while allowing you to operate seamlessly without interfering with users when your presence is not required.
Using filtered views, admins can secure record-level access by defining security based on certain values of a field. For example, admins can define access to records where the City field value is equal to Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond. This security model is critical in securing data access to reporting and analytical records.
With this feature, you'll be able to revoke users instantly and enforce IP restrictions. This feature uses continuous access evaluation (CAE) while complying with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), part of Microsoft Entra, identity policy for user revocation, and conditional access IP enforcement policy.
Power Platform managed identity provides a robust security framework for services such as connectors, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and environment variable secrets.
By using managed identities, organizations can ensure secure and seamless authentication without the need for managing the credentials. This not only simplifies the management of credentials, but also significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, credential leaks, and potential security breaches. It also enhances compliance with security policies and regulations, providing peace of mind and allowing organizations to focus on innovation and productivity.
Expanded Virtual Network support to more connectors and Power Platform services significantly enhances your data security strategies.
This feature allows Power Platform connectors and services, including environment variables, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and service endpoints, to securely connect to private, endpoint-enabled resources in Azure or within their Virtual Network. This eliminates the need to expose these resources to the public internet, which reduces the risk of data exfiltration and ensures a more secure and compliant environment.
Power Platform managed identities allow publishers of Dataverse plug-ins to securely connect to Azure resources without having to store or expose credentials. Managed identities eliminate the need for developers to manage these credentials.

When this environment setting is configured by an admin, guests can be stopped from establishing connections to data sources in that environment, prevented from performing any maker actions, and stopped from using any apps or flows that were shared to them. This security is implemented within the Power Platform admin center without having to use controls like conditional access or continuous access evaluation.
By leveraging a single command and API, customers can seamlessly transition their entire environment, including Dataverse, customer engagement-based, and ERP-based applications, from sandbox to production. This streamlined process enhances operational efficiency and reduces downtime during critical go live activities.
